Retrieval, New Film and Website.

Right so, been a couple of weeks since i updated.
found out i gotta do a retrieval on my first assignment :( - but in a way lookign forward to getting the brief, so i can just crack on with it. so heres to another 2 months of uni work!

on another note, im currently working on making a new short film (more child friendly film this time) - as i saw the ad for CBBC looking for shortfilms, i thought id have a crack at it.
gonna be updating some character designs in the next couple of days!

and finally, gonna start working on making my own website.
so if any you lovely animators or arty type people would like a link on it, message me on facebook, and it will be done for you!

Finished

well i actually handed it in last friday, before 2pm, before it went down another grade! (and before i chased the real radio renegade in Caerleon haha!)
i managed to edit it on claymation, which worked alot better.
music wasnt completely edited on there. so obvously even after the deadline im still working on it, really want this film to work, as i love the idea. so still gonna perfect it!

Late :(

yeah, for some obscure reason premiere pro didnt wanna do anythng for me (ive been awake over 34 hours now, and im knackered!) so looks like its gonna be a late submission ARGH!
im looking into finding something else to edit it now, otherwise its never gonna get done. - so got Claymation Studio on the download now.

All Nighter!

just got home from a 10 hour shift - what a stupid time of year to have a long shift.
ill have to be pulling an all nighter to get this all edited. hopefully will get it done by tomorrow, thought Premiere Pro does like to crash on me!

Filming Update

Right basically, ive filmed about half the film, im really pressing for time at the moment.
im also having Dominic over to record my voices and Ryan has basically finished my music.
still got the final scene to do. Ive also cut some scenes from the film, i did try and do a very complicated cat walk cycle which stressed me out, and took too long to film. So that maybe added to the film at a later date (probably after the hand in) - as ill probably ending up perfecting it, or refilming some shots anyway!

urmm i really dont have anything i can upload at the moment, need to cut some shots and maybe put them here, dont wanna put too much on here, just incase i send it off to festivals (ifs its good enough) will try my hardest to post some video up!.

Filming is going ok at the moment. though its gonna be a race against time!

here's probably one of my most important sets. The bathroom, is part of my final scene, where my story is wrapped up.

Garden

here are all the pictures from when i first started making my garden (with help from Stevee Adams and my mam!)
Im actually really proud of this set, i think it looks pretty good! - ive posted some of these pictures on Facebook and had some good feedback, so cheers for that guys!..

anyway, this set has been made from a variety of materials, for the patio, we had a notice board, with bits of card stuck on the floor, then pasted over with paper mache, to give a gravel/stone look. The flower pots and flower beds, are made from card, and paper. My shed i made from different sized lollipop sticks (very cheap from The Range!). Also we popped to Ikea, and found a net of pebbles, and though it would work really well on my garden, so here are the pics: (and this time there is ALOT of them)

Kitchen

Ive basically finished making my kitchen, obviously i been workng on it for a couple of weeks, so these are pictures that have been taken throughout, thought id post them altogether.

Also i would like to say a quick thank you, to Ryan's mam - Teresa Morgan! - and Charlie's Dad - Roy Trimm, who have both provided me with some stuff for my sets!
including carpet, and random bits of wallpaper! thank you very much! (shall put them in my credits!)
